A Room With a View
Did you hear that Hollywood is re-doing My Fair Lady? I’m not sure what they think they are going to improve upon. We don’t have any Audrey Hepburns to fill the role of Eliza Doolittle, and I’m afraid that Cecil Beaton isn’t available to do the sets on this re-hash. All this news reminded me of a favorite song in the movie that was also recently used for a LazyBoy® ad. You know which one I’m talking about. It goes something like, “All I want is a room somewhere…far away from the cold night air…with one enormous chair…ah, wouldn’t it be lovely?” Sometimes I sing that song as I’m heading home at the end of a long day at work. I just want a cozy spot to put my feet up and relax. Don’t you?
